OH MY DARLING….

(the Darling of my heart)
 
Prior to this, I was in deep thinking what I should give my Darling. Then, her lists of possible gifts on her blog gave me some idea. However, I’m not a woman of words. I’m afraid she won’t appreciate if I would write a poem or a blog post for her. But as I have known her, she isn’t a type that would refuse and reject gifts although she’s frank when it comes to things she doesn’t like. Well, I believe there is no harm in trying. So now, here am I doing my very best to put up the right words to describe my DEAR DARLING. Hope she likes it. J
 
Who Auraluz Durano Banci Is…(in my own point of view)
 
1.a prophetic sister in Christ (she’s so much interested in prophecies. She is a collector of prophetic books and magazines)
 
2.a cheerful companion (when you’re with her you’re surely far from boredom
unless she isn’t feeling well or has some serious problem)
 
3.an energetic talker (I’m not sure how many words my Darling can utter in a
minute but I assure she  you is a fast talker but usually she talks with sense)
 
4.a sweet buddy (there are times when she will approach you, hug you and would
ask some favor. For me that part of her is so sweet)
 
5.a loving daughter (it’s not a question that she loves her family)
 
6.a dreamer of many things? (imaginative as she is, she can make you fly into a
world unknown with her words)
 
7.a caring sister of Luke (if there is one thing that would trouble her and make her
worry, it is definitely her brother.)
 
8.someone one can easily approach in times of trouble (people knew her as a     cheerful lady but when her friend needs her but would weep for those who weep)
 
9.a match-maker (it’s her hobby to find  potential lovers to her friends according to her standards.)
 
10.an encourager and an exhorter (I’m a product of her encouragements and exhortations)
 
11.very appreciative (she always appreciates things and people truthfully.
Though I still can’t believe her when she would tell me I am pretty. Nevertheless,
I know she isn’t joking when she says that. Thanks, darling!)
 
12.a Bible woman (She believes the Word of God and patterns her life to “What the
Bible says”)
 
13.responsible and trustworthy (it’s amazing to know that in her young age, she is able to take care of so many responsibilities at home and in school plus church)
 
14.a shoulder to cry on (but she won’t cry with you because she doesn’t easily cry.
However, she will listen to whatever sentiments you have)
 
As My Darling:
 
1.She is a REVEALATOR (one time, she pulled my pants and saw my undie. Good thing she is the only one who saw it. After that, I don’t know how react. I was caught off-guard! I was helpless! Justice for me!!! hehehe)
 
2.She is a KINGKOY (she often teases me and I don’t know why I would laugh at her jokes instead of getting mad and disappointed. I enjoy her friendship so much. Whenever I have a problem and would tell her about it, expected I’ll be laughing at the end of the conversation)
 
3.She is a BLESSING (countless times and opportunities, God used her in many ways to bless me.)
 
4.She is a GIVER (she has given me a lot of books and other stuffs. But most importantly, she gives me love and care which is far more valuable than gold.)
 
5.She is a CALLER (for the record, Darling is the ONLY friend of mine who would always call me and share different stories, prophecies and new discoveries especially with regards  to the Word of God)
 
6.She is a PHOTOGRAPHER (as an expert in capturing stolen shots, I’m one of her victims. She usually takes funny photos of me. And she makes it/me a laughing stuff. Hahaha.)
 
7.She is my HAIR STYLIST (she loves to make fun of my curly hair and wants me to “lugay” it. In submission, I would let her do anything of my hair even allowing her to experiment on it. Then, she would take a picture of me with different hairstyle.
 
8.She is my STOCKING ENEMY (If I’m a stocking I would not befriend her because it’s her vice to take my stockings and expose my not-so-flawless skin. She would roll it make is something like a sock and would laugh aloud- making fun of me)
 
9.She is my PONYTAIL SNATCHER (Since she love to see me “lugay” my hair, she often snatches my ponytail and threatens not to give it back. I’m used to it but sometimes I loose my patience and surrender)
 
10.She is to me my ONE AND ONLY DARLING (Why is she my darling? Simply because she is my darling. It would not change even if time, distance and circumstances separate us)
 
It is highly evident that our bonding moments are fun-filled. Maybe because she isn’t a serious type. But it is one thing that makes our friendship different and worth reminiscing. For me, my Darling is my Darling not because of who she is or what she has but because God destined us to be DARLINGS… We’ve been together for quite sometime already but I know I still have to know her more.  And I praise and thank the Lord for completing my life and journey with her.
 
            Did I miss something? For sure I do. I believe the above-mentioned characteristics and descriptions of her are but a glimpse of her whole being and personality. Definitely, Darling is someone indescribable and incomparable because God made her unique and different from all His creation. If there is someone who knows her best, that is her Creator and Heavenly Father. There is no other Auraluz Banci in the world and that is for certain. Truly, she deserves to be treasured, cherished, loved and cared for. Above all, no matter how people would describe her, I know that in the eyes of God, she is His precious child and worth the blood, His Son Jesus has shed on the cross of Calvary.
 
God’s message for my Darling:
Isaiah 43:1 “…thou art mine.”
 
 
My message for Darling:
Someone told me this and I quote, “To say ‘I Love You’ is an understatement”
 
 

Souls

Today is the Sinulog. I really pity those people who believe in a god who is of the devil. Many people, if not millions, are so misled by a false god & a false doctrine that it's overwhelming how this verse is so true.

"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."     Matthew 7:13-14 KJV

Us, children of God, have the responsibility to share to these people that are so lost WHO the REAL God is. I'm distressed by a post I read from one of my professors. She's a very intelligent & gifted teacher. She's an achiever, too. Her devotion to that small statue is so heartwarming just like how we, true Christians, ought to be. The problem with her faith is that she's in the wrong. Her belief is very far from the truth of God's Word. I am distressed by her faith. I feel burdened since I know that she will end up in hell if she doesn't come to know the REAL, AUTHENTIC, TRUE Jesus Christ. Many of my friends believe in that statue just like my teacher does. Little do they know that they are heading towards destruction. The Christian world should pray for these souls, individually & as a group. I have this burning desire in me to share to my closest friends about the TRUE WAY, who happens to be the TRUE Jesus declared by the Scriptures.

Those people joining in the festivities right now are so pitiful. They are misguided by their priests. My heart is grieving for them. I'm very sure that God is in grief & anguish due to their idolatry. I know I'm also a sinner. I'm also guilty of idolatry despite not believing in that image. But, I know that Jesus died for me. God gifted me with the faith in His only begotten Son. How about those millions of people worshiping statues of 'saints'? God cares for them, too. So I know that I should care for them. Their souls are of utmost importance. Perhaps your parents, friends, loved ones & the people around you are blinded from the truth. We share the same desire to minister unto them, to tell them about Jesus. Will we just idly watch while we know that they're going to end up in hell? Of course not! So what are we going to do about it?
